Make sure that you are dressed professionally going into your interview.
Practice Interview Questions
Have a friend ask you some questions, they will be able to point out any mistakes you are making when answering questions.
Research the school, curriculum and location of the school.
Make sure to go through possible questions that might be asked.
Try to bring pictures of your classroom (without the students!) and samples of your students work.
Why are you a good fit for the school? What skill set do you have that you can bring to the school?
You are going to be working with children and young adults, interviews want to see someone who is warm and personable.
Most people don’t do this properly, but listen to the questions being asked, tailor your answer for the questions asked.
Have a lesson in your mind
When you are preparing for your interview, have examples of a good and a bad lesson for your answers. Think about assessment, planning and differentiation in your answers.
